Helvetica - the movie, was an inspiring film on the ever-so-common typeface. I saw this movie about a year ago and actually found it to be a quite interesting film as it goes into the critical step in developing such a successful typeface and the factors around it. It got me to think about how much work is put into what we think as an easy task. Little do we know there is much things to consider such as size, leading, kerning, tracking, legibility, readability, and so much more. Helvetica has been so successfully overly used we tend not to realize it in our very own environment. This movie is a must-see for anyone going into the field of typographic study
