These are two wonderful examples of expressive type.
<< Henderson Bromstead Art Co. created the poster of the man wearing the scarf for the Secrest Art Series. Hand-illustrated type lends to the unique feel of the poster, and the mixture of vertical and horizontal type follows the pattern of a blowing scarf very effectively.
>> The second poster is from the Deviant Art site, and it is also very illustrative by the way the letterforms are arranged on the page, drawing the eye across the interesting space. A generous amount of negative space helps the readability of this one. Beautiful movement!
