I always gush over the typotheque.com website. I want everything on it...the font used in this poster especially. It's called *History, a font that combines a rather comprehensive interpretation of the history of typography. It combines 21 "layers" each inspired by various movements in art and design. The poster was done by Winterhouse Studio (look at their 'posters' and 'misc.' section on their website) for an AIGA lecture.
