I literally looked under images with the key word "typography" on Google. I found all these images that were created just by using text. I remembered the portrait we worked on at the end of GD1 and I really loved creating an image using text. I hate drawing with pencil and I have little patience for painting. The portrait we created on the computer was an outlet for me to "draw" but using a medium I much preferred.
Some of these images take the idea of pictures with type to a whole new level, but they are amazing examples of creating a picture or portrait with type. The zebra is probably my favorite image because of the dimension created. The different colors of text, the way the text is shaped, and the intricate sizing of the letters. It is a beautiful "drawing" done with a keypad!
