Making typography from the earth

This work was done by Anna Garforth and Eleanor Stevens, Environmental designers.  They used "In this spore borne air, Watch your skin peel" as a metaphor for environmental awareness and change. I'm really drawn to art created by nature products and biodegradable media like this moss.  The idea that the artist took an ordinary and dirty space and made it beautiful is simple and inspiring to me.  The work is not permanent and as it breaks down it leaves no waste.  Paul "Moose" Curtis, who does reverse-graffiti where he makes stencils and applys them to dirty traffic tunnels and then power washes the dirt away to leave a beautiful scene of "clean" trees and flowers, is also a very inspiring artist that shares the intrest in making art with already existing materials.
