I found this video on the "I love typography" website and thought it was an amazingly creative means of constructing a typeface. The iQ typeface is most definitely an nod to integrating hand drawn type and machine made. I also find it interesting that they choose to use a car vs actually drawing out the lines. The small level of surprise/organic construction gives way to a more dynamic typeface in the end.
